| Volunteering makes a real difference to the community and it certainly makes life better for a very large number of people, volunteers get a lot out of it too. It is rewarding, fulfilling and deeply satisfying to know just how much your time is appreciated and valued. It is flexible too; volunteers work whenever it suits them. Daytime, early evenings or weekends. You'll meet people from many different backgrounds and, believe us, it can open your eyes to a whole new world. You'll be surprised at how much fun it can be. Volunteering also enhances your CV and can give you an edge over other job candidates as well as being an opportunity to 'road test' some career options! SHOPPING BUS The weekly shopping bus is a huge success with our local residents, but we are short of shopping bus assistants. If you think you could help once a month with this please let Sam know. MILEAGE CLAIM FORMS Please see below for mileage claim forms. Mileage can be claimed at 0.40pence per mile.
